Health Food and Cosmetics

There are a variety of health foods and cosmetics designed to improve one's physical condition and thus increase attractiveness. In recent years, as in the case of pharmaceuticals, improving the absorption rate of active ingredients is considered to be an important issue in these fields.
We are actively developing our OEM/ODM business for cosmetics and health food products, taking advantage of our extensive knowledge and experience in polymerization research for pharmaceuticals to address these issues. Through our efforts, we are able to provide products that meet our customers' requirements and achieve their desired image.

Liposomal Supplement Product Development

Liposomalization is gaining attention in the dietary supplement industry as a technology that avoids first-pass effects in the liver and improves the bioavailability of active ingredients.
The “first-pass effect” refers to the fact that highly water-soluble ingredients are absorbed from the small intestine and transported to the liver via the portal vein. Liposomes, due to their fat-soluble nature, are absorbed directly into the blood via the lymphatic vessels of the small intestine, thus avoiding degradation by the liver. Therefore, it is thought that liposomes can efficiently deliver active ingredients to cells throughout the body.
We are developing an original equipment manufacturing (OEM)/original design manufacturing (ODM) business for liposomal supplements by utilizing our liposomal technology cultivated through research on drug delivery systems (DDS).

Cosmetics

Preventing skin aging is the dream of all mankind.
Not only the search for antioxidants that inhibit skin aging, but also the technologies to make those active ingredients act on the skin efficiently is required. Therefore, we are applying the knowledge and experience we have gained through research on the polymerization of pharmaceuticals to the research and development of cosmetics with polymer-processed anti-aging substances such as nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and vitamin C.
We are also researching cosmetic technologies that utilize the dispersion effect of liposomes to ensure that the active ingredients penetrate the skin evenly. We are also engaged in original equipment manufacturing (OEM)/original design manufacturing (ODM) business for cosmetics by utilizing these research results.
